Any tradesman will tell you, yo u must have good tools. Sewing is no different.
I've been wanting to buy either a Bernina, a Pfaff, or a Husqvarna since in the 1990's when I first learned about them. Unfortunately I have never been able to put together the funds to do so. In the interim, I have one White, two Brothers and one Singer.
I have been searching for an affordable high end sewing machine in the past months and was led, via Pattern Review, to look at Juki. Guess what, I fell in love!! I purchased a "customer returned" Juki HZL G210 and it is a joy to work with this machine.
Today I made a dish drainer, two clothes pin bags, a case for my shades (glasses) because my Juki just purred while I was making them. I am about to do some alterations on my son's five work pants and after that I will be sewing three school pants for my younger son.
This is a first in all my years of sewing. I have never before done so many items in one day. I can see my days ahead will be filled with sewing. Thanks Juki.
By the way I bought my Juki at SewVacDirect.com. They are based in Texas. Thanks guys!! Great service.
I have not yet mastered the art of taking pictures especially with a cell phone or Ipad. Maybe I need a camera. I will try to post pictures of my work shortly.
